History of Our Company

  • B.J. Larson Remodeling & Construction Co., opens its doors for business on January 11, 1981, as a sole proprietor
  • On May 16, 1991, we changed our name to B.J. Larson Remodeling Co., and incorporated the business
  • The corporate officers of the business are Bradley J. Larson, President, and Kathy M. Larson, Vice President
  • On January 15, 1992, we were licensed through the state of Minnesota, ID #2529 – state licensed have to be renewed on a yearly basis

Requirements for Having a Minnesota Residential Building Contractors and Remodeling License

  • Proof that the qualifying person has passed the written exampination
  • Proof of Workers’ Comprehensive Insurance
  • Proof of Liability/Property Insurance
  • Minnesota state tax ID number
  • Proof of continuing education in the building industry (minimum of seven hours per year is required)
